Traditional Easters

Family traditions, in my opinion, are so amazing! It’s a time to get with your family and laugh, chat, play, and just be thankful for each other! Every year my family gets together to celebrate Easter! We eat a traditional, family meal, play games,  and have a huge, Easter egg, hunt! Another great Easter tradition we have is coloring boiled eggs! It’s so much fun! If you’ve never tried it you should make it a tradition with your family! You can make all types of colors, purple, pink, green, red, yellow, and much more! I love my family traditions and hope they go on for more and more generations!

The Holocaust

In my opinion, the Holocaust was a sad, dark, destroying time. Sometimes we forget about this terrible time, because it’s sad and heartbreaking, but it’s good to remember, because we need to be thankful for the people who got us out of this mess! I know I sometimes take our army for granted, but they do so much for us and we don’t even realize it! It’s always good to thank God for our army, because if we didn’t have such caring people, we would probably still be in a terrible time! My challenge for you is to stop and think or even pray every once in a while for our amazing, caring soldiers who fight for us!

About me

Hi, my name is Jensen. I am not a very athletic person, but I am in sports. My 7th grade year I’ve played basketball, volleyball, and now I’m in track. I’m also a cheerleader! I love to cheer, it’s my favorite sport of all! Something I love to do is to praise God! He is so amazing that words can’t describe him! I also love to spend time with my friends and family, they are so awesome and I couldn’t ask God for better people then them! In my opinion, I think I’m a great advice giver. If any of my friends need somebody to lean on I am there to give them advice and to be the best friend I can! I am an average, smart student and it’s my goal to someday be the valedictorian of my class! I have two dogs, Sassy and Kaci, that are the sweetest, little creatures. This pretty much rounds it up for me, and I hope you got to learn more about me and my personality!

Spring Break 2012

As everyone knows spring break is coming up!! I’m so excited, because I’m doing something special. I will be going to Houston to work in the third ward. Our church youth group is going to help spread the word and help out people with whatever is needed. For example, paint the peoples houses, help plant a garden, or anything they need! If you don’t know the third ward is a very poor place with a lot of poverty. All they need is love and that’s what I’m here for!! We will come back home on Thursday, so that will leave with a weekend of fun!! I am so excited and I hope I will see God move in me and maybe even some of the people I meet!

Hello(:

I  haven’t posted since 2011, so I thought I should say something!! Well Happy New Years; I know it’s a little late for that, but it’s 2012!! Since it’s not New Years, Happy Leap Dayy(:

My Precious Snow Cones

Oh how I love my snow cones

On a hot, summer day

I take the first bite

And it blows me away

The blue bubblegum all over my mouth

If I don’t get one I’ll pout

The snow cone melts on my tongue

Then it flows down past my lungs

If anyone EVER takes then away

I’ll be in one, huge daze…….!

I Absoluteley Could not Live Without it!

Have you ever thought about your senses? Your five senses sight, feel, hear, smell, or taste? Well, think about which one you absolutely can’t live without! Mine is TASTE! I absolutely positively could not live without taste!! And some people do and I have no idea how they do it!

You know if I didn’t have taste I would never get to taste my mom’s fresh, hot, fudge brownies, or taste Dairy Queen’s warm, crispy chicken tenders, or what about a Route 44 Dr. Pepper from Sonic!! Taste makes my life WONDERFUL to the dot!!

Well all I know is that if I didn’t have taste I’d go CRAZY! There would be some chaos in my house! I would never let my mom ever cook her delicious brownies again!! If she did I would go out of my mind, because I would be smelling it and craving me some brownies, chicken tenders, and a Route 44 Dr. Pepper from Sonic!!! YUM! (:

Making a Difference

When you hear the quote “Making a difference”, you probably think of Rosa Parks, and segregation. Well there’s other ways you can make a difference, mine is talking to people about God! That’s an important part of life, and some people don’t take that road and they go the other way! I just learned that the road to heaven is narrow, very narrow! A room of about 20 people, 2% is going! Some people might say they’re Christians, but they don’t live out a Christian life! They’re a Christian plant that is growing with thorns, and you don’t want to have thorns, you want to have BIG, BEAUTIFUL flowers! So theres lots of ways to make a difference, but this is a really important way, and an important part of life!!(:

A CHRISTMAS TRADITION

It all starts on December 24th, not 25th. We wake up at 6:00 o’clock in the morning and dash to my parent’s room, and then we wake them up. They go and get the video camera, so they can see our gorgeous surprised faces when we see what Santa brought us! When we finish opening all our presents we pack up and go to my grandparents house; That’s why we open presents on December 24th , so we can go to their house. Then they welcome us with a feisty meal, ham, turkey, peas, cornbread, then we celebrate Christmas with them! When we are done we just chat, play games, and enjoy each other! The most awesome thing I love about Christmas is knowing I’m a Christian and it’s Jesus Birthday and it’s all about him!

My Dog Kaci

I have a dog named kaci. I’ve had Kaci for about two years, I got her for my birthday. Kaci is a tan cocker spaniel. She is BEAUTIFUL!!! I got Kaci from my Aunts dog, her name is Dalphine. Kaci is a very hyper dog, but when she was a puppy she was very lazy, I held her from my Aunts house all the way home, all she did was sleep! I always wanted to take kaci every where, to the baseball games, to friends houses, every where, and when I spent the night with friends I would miss her like crazy! Now kaci’s two years old, 14 in doggy years. Kaci gets sick or hurt A LOT, once she got ran over by a mule, she’s got paralyzed and we don’t know how that happened, but the point is if anything ever happened to her I would be terrified!!! But that’s my dog kaci!!!(:♥
